We stand with everyone fighting racial inequality and injustice.

“In a racist society, it is not enough to be non-racist, we must be anti-racist.”
— Angela Davis

Right now across America and all over the world Black people are protesting injustice and demanding racial equality. We cannot build a sustainable future for all without actively addressing the systemic racism and injustice facing the Black community.

Inaction is simply not an option.

As two white founders (Stuart and Sean) we haven’t done enough. Our privilege allows us to build a business with advantages and opportunities that unfortunately are not racially universal.

We don’t have all the answers. But after spending time listening and learning here are the steps we are taking to put our values into practice at LearnWhy.

1) Diversifying our team. We’re a young company and need to do better. We’re actively taking steps to improve how we lift up the Black community as advisors, employees, partners and customers. We’re also proactively increasing the diversity of guests and contributors to our podcast and content to amplify the voices of Black marketers and entrepreneurs..

2) Actively learning and building a culture grounded in anti-racism and proactive support for the Black community and social justice allies. Here are 3 resources that have been useful in getting more educated ourselves:

We are also committed to making sure our advisers, partners and customers share our values too.

3) Committing to donating 1% of our revenue to support organizations fighting for racial equality and justice including the ACLU and the Equal Justice Initiative.

We need to do the hard work and lift people up who are held down by systemic racism and injustice #BlackLivesMatter.
